The 40th Anniversary and Fall
Meeting
September 5 - 8, 2012
MBWA members met at the Keystone
Spa and Resort in Keystone Colorado to celebrate the association’s
40th anniversary and annual fall conference. The meetings were
informative with a great lineup of industry speakers on both
Thursday and Friday morning. The MBWA closed business meeting was
highlighted with remarks by Senator Mike Kehoe, sponsor of SB #
837 our 2012 (Brewery Branch Legislation). The meeting focused on
our legislative agenda for 2013 and upcoming elections.
The Thursday evening social event
was a “hoot”. Everyone enjoyed traveling by horse drawn
covered wagons to the “back country” surrounded by gorgeous
Colorado Mountains. The evening was a little cool, but delicious
BBQ, cold beer and guitar playing around the outdoor bonfire was
fantastic, especially with the awesome sunset to close out the
evening events.
